Shreya Shah, PA, is a member of Summit Health’s Plastic Surgery team. In her area of expertise as a surgical physician assistant, Ms. Shah provides comprehensive pre- and post-operative care to patients and assists surgeons with a variety of surgical procedures. “I believe that good patient-centered care requires active listening and strong communication skills to ensure that we provide optimal care and improve outcomes,” says Ms. Shah.

During a patient visit, Ms. Shah feels it’s important to understand the patient’s needs, ensure that the patient feels heard, and all their questions have been answered. She is very fulfilled working with patients and developing a trusting relationship with them, helping them achieve their goals as part of their health care team.

Outside of treating patients, Ms. Shah enjoys spending time with family and friends, pursuing creative hobbies like ceramics, painting, traveling, and enjoying the outdoors.
