What are dermal fillers?

Dermal fillers in New Jersey / New York are among the fastest-growing nonsurgical ways to restore your youthful appearance. Sometimes known as the liquid facelift, injectable facial fillers can offer some of the benefits of a surgical facelift without incisions and downtime for recovery. In addition, soft tissue fillers provide immediate, natural-looking results for less than the cost of surgery.

Juvéderm, Restylane, Sculptra, and Radiesse are among the most commonly used dermal fillers.

Are dermal fillers safe?

Yes, injectable facial fillers are safe! The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved facial fillers. Complications with dermal fillers are very rare and typically only occur when someone without the proper training and experience administers them.

How are dermal fillers given?

Dermal filler injections are given with a very fine needle. The treatment usually takes about 15-20 minutes. Most patients suggest they experience little or no discomfort during or after the procedure.

No down time is needed to recover from treatment with dermal fillers. Any redness, tenderness firmness, swelling, lumps/bumps, itching, bruising, or discoloration is mild and lasts less than 5 days.
