You should not use Latisse if:

• You are taking antibiotics
• You take heart medications
• You are pregnant
• You have severe allergies

Your Consultation

A consultation for Latisse includes an examination of your eyes and discussion of your medical history. It is important to tell your doctor if you have had any problems with your eyes. Most people have no side effects from Latisse, but rare reactions include red or itchy eyes and darkening of the skin around the eyes.

Your doctor will give you a prescription for Latisse and tell you how to apply it at home.

The Procedure

You will apply Latisse to the base of your upper eyelashes once every day for 3 to 4 months. The applicator is sterile and disposable. It should only be used one time. When you blink, Latisse will spread on its own to the lower eyelashes. For this reason, you need not apply it there.

Recovery and Results

You will see results from Latisse within 1 to 2 months. After 3 or 4 months of use, you can maintain your beautiful new lashes by using Latisse every other day. If you stop using Latisse, your eyelashes will return to their former appearance in a few weeks.
