A board-certified New Jersey plastic surgeon, Reza Momeni, MD, FACS, has expertise in cosmetic surgery of the face, breasts, and body. His expertise also includes hand surgery and cancer reconstruction. Dr. Momeni is particularly interested in aesthetic techniques such as minimally invasive and nonsurgical facial rejuvenation with Botox®Cosmetic, Juvederm®, SculptraTM, Fraxel®, and Thermage®. In addition to his position at Summit Medical Group, Dr. Momeni is Chairman of Plastic Surgery at Overlook Medical Center in Summit, New Jersey.
He is the author or coauthor of articles and abstracts concerning a variety of topics in plastic surgery, which are published in prestigious, peer-reviewed scientific journals and regional lifestyle magazines. In addition, he has given regional and national lectures about his work.
To achieve outstanding and natural results that enhance his patients’ appearance, Dr. Momeni consults with patients to understand their needs and desires. He provides personalized recommendations to each patient, while keeping the safety and effectiveness of treatments in mind. Eager to share his skills with those who might not otherwise receive the care they need, Dr. Momeni volunteers his expertise internationally with the nonprofit organizations Smile Train, Healing the Children, and Changing Children’s Lives to provide free surgical care for children with facial deformities, burns, and accidents. Dr. Momeni is the recipient of the American Medical Association Physician Recognition Award and the Ellis Island Medal of Honor.
Dr. Momeni practices in the Summit, New Jersey, and New York metropolitan area. When he is not working with his patients, he enjoys his family, the outdoors, and travel.
